Ben Donich overlooks Lochgoilhead, the rest and be thankful and Arrochar. From the summit you can see Greenock, Port Glasgow, Ailsa Craig, Gourock, Loch Lomond, Jura, Arran and Inveraray. A fairly easy hill, just shy of a Munro. Some impressive crevasse and rock formations just before the summit.
Definately one of the best vantage points in the Arrochar Alps range. The outback of the Cowal Peninsula is worth a drive through.
Surrounded by waterfalls, Inverlounin House nestles by the sea on the shores of the fjord-like Loch Goil. Easily accessible but exceptionally private: this unique lochside location offers unrivalled views, peace and seclusion in the heart of Loch Lomond National Park. Dating from 1876 when it was built as a country escape for a Glasgow merchant, this family home is now available as a comfortable holiday retreat.
